Civil works and tower erection: 30+ sites in two months with Huawei and Helios Towers

Synergy Professionals Ghana (SPG) is working on a civil works and tower erection project, delivered in partnership with Huawei and supporting the Helios Towers vision for a connected Africa. The implementation workplan is set, and the programme runs from 12 October to 6 December 2026.

The ambition is captured in one line: more towers, a brighter tomorrow.

What the work involves

Every tower starts in the ground. Civil works cover site preparation, excavation, steel reinforcement and the concrete foundations the structure stands on. Once the foundations are complete and checked, the tower is erected section by section, followed by the site works that make it ready for the equipment that will serve the community.

Delivering more than 30 sites in two months is as much a planning challenge as an engineering one. Crews, materials, equipment and inspections have to be sequenced carefully so that work flows from site to site without delays.

Transforming the telecom sector with digital documentation

This project puts digital documentation at the centre of delivery. Progress and evidence are recorded digitally, site by site, giving our partners a transparent, up-to-date view of the work as it happens instead of a stack of paperwork at the end.

Digital records also make quality easier to prove: every stage can be checked, traced and signed off with evidence behind it.
